All of our bedroom customers seem to know exactly what it is they want from their bedroom, but often are unsure of quite how to achieve it. The brief we usually get is to maximise storage space, some drawers, a full length mirror and somewhere to ‘put bits and pieces’. No two bedrooms that we have made have ever been the same, or even similar.
Once we have an idea of what you need and how much you want to spend, we can have a quick look around and measure up before coming up with some ideas.
We will start off with a very rough sketch and from there, along with your input, we will come up with the final design. We use MDF, which can be sprayed any colour you wish, or if it’s wood you require what about maple or beech. For a more traditional look, we can use oak. We also carry an extensive range of exotic veneers which can be mixed with other materials, to enable you to achieve a very individual finish.
The real beauty of hand-made in the bedroom is that you really can make use of every inch of space, difficult corners or sloping ceilings can be hidden and what had always previously been considered ‘dead space’ can be brought to life and either become a feature or have some practical use.
